COLLEGIATE CODERS
BranchOut! Baltimore City offers year-round programming with flexible scheduling, allowing mentors to volunteer at times that best suit their availability. Volunteer hours are recorded based on individual commitment.​

Refugee Youth Project (RYP)
RYP supports school-aged youth to develop academic and social skills needed for success and positive integration into their communities. The program focuses on homework help, social skills, and strengthening English language skills.
​BO! Mentors will:

Provide academic support and guidance to youth participants

Tutor refugee students in core academic subjects (mathematics, biology, chemistry, etc.)
Bright Minds Academy
In collaboration with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Bright Minds Academy provides a rigorous and innovative summer learning experience for Gifted, Talented, and Advanced students entering Grades K-5.

Summer Only; rotates through weekly innovation modules (100+ students enrolled)

Mentors assist teachers and support students one-on-one or in small groups


Collegiate Coders
Collegiate Coders is a seven-week BranchOut! program focused on robotics and coding, run in collaboration with Bryn Mawr School Robotics Team 8582 at the Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys (November–February 2026).
​BO! Mentors will:

Lead sessions for a cohort of 15 students in grades 4-6

Assist with team preparations and materials
