Please read the following information carefully:

  • We will only invite qualified students for an in-person or virtual interview. Admissions results are on a rolling basis. Therefore, we encourage you to apply early and take advantage of our early bird application.

  • All applications to the BranchOut! program must be completed through this form.

  • All new and returning student mentors are required to apply. Once accepted, the student mentor will be able to participate in any of BranchOut!'s spring, summer, or year-round program until August of 2023 (certain restrictions apply).

  • All decisions and communication will be done via the student email address provided to us in this application form, so please provide a valid email address (not a school email address) that you check frequently so that you don't miss important emails from us.

  • We expect students to respond to our emails rather than parents. This is an effective way to show that you are a mature young adult who is capable of being a mentor or lead a team.

  • Once accepted, a $150 earnest deposit will be required to secure your participation in the program. The fee will be refunded at the end of the program. See our FAQ page for more information.

Please visit our FAQ page as most of your answers can be found there. If you have other questions that are not listed, please contact the headquarters at velbranchout@gmail.com. Please note that it can take up to 2 weeks for a question to be responded (no phone call or Wechat message please). We thank you for your patience.

For Howard County Chapter related questions, please email branchouthoco@gmail.com or contact Dr. Meina Liu or Ms. Cuiwei Zhao at the Howard County Chinese School.

No phone call is accepted.
