Briefly introduce yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a mentor for BranchOut!:
I am a student in the Montgomery Blair High School Magnet Program, and I am passionate about STEM, and promoting change in my community. I love meeting new people and planning things like lessons. Tutoring is so needed and important, since education is the best way of solving so many problems in our society such as poverty and discrimination. I want to mentor in order to help kids who don't have the means to pay for tutoring, because they deserve a chance at academic success just like everyone else. I have seen firsthand how tutoring really helps kids who are struggling in school, and want to continue helping them in any way that I can.
