Describe your tutoring experience if you have any:

I have been in multiple tutoring opportunities these past few years. I was involved in Growth and Inspiration through Volunteering and Education (GIVE), a non-profit organization that strives to help younger children through tutoring. I also have participated as a teacher assistant in Hope Chinese School at the Westfield High School Campus, a non-profit organization that helps young Chinese children with various subjects: Chinese, Math, Science, and others. The last tutoring opportunity that I have been part of was in a summer camp. I was also a teacher assistant and during my time there, I helped children from grades 1-3 with Math, English, and Chinese.

What subjects can you confidently tutor?

Biology, Algebra I, Algebra II, Spanish, Art, Music

I believe that I a good fit for Branch Out because I have already had obtained experience during the past few years, I am also good with kids and very patient. I am willing to help with these children because I think that I am very persistent. Once I have met with these children, I will not quit until I see fit that they are better off than they were when they first arrived!
