Describe your tutoring experience if you have any:
I served as a mentor for BranchOut! last summer at the James Lee Community Center. Through this opportunity, I helped teach disenfranchised elementary students a variety of STEM topics, including mathematics, computer science, and chemistry through engaging labs, problems, and online programs.
I also have extensive experience working with high school students. Based on academic merit, I was selected to serve as a Langley peer tutor to help fellow Langley students (grades 9-12) in a range of subjects, including BC Calculus, AP Physics C, and AP Chemistry. I believe my diverse experiences and teaching skill set will allow me to quickly adapt to any challenges and conditions that may be imposed on me this summer.
