Describe your tutoring experience if you have any:

I have been teaching for a couple years at Princeton learning experience. There I teach 3-4th grade students from how to effectively read, speak and write in English. All this happens through a video calling service called Zoom where I teach a small group of children. I let them watch fun videos to further intrigue and engage them. We also read books together all while learning important vocabulary. All this makes their speaking more fluent and effective.

Algebra I, English/Language Arts, Music

Briefly introduce yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a mentor for BranchOut!:

Branch out is an exciting opportunity for me. It allows me to try something different and do something more in my life. I can grow more as a person while helping other grow to. I am able to do this. And I will be able to give a fuller education to the less fortunate. Teaching for the first time, I felt more alive, more engaged, than I ever had before. Learning the dynamics between the student and the teacher in an attempt to solve problems and learn effectively allowed me to evolve as a person. And with this, hope to fulfill my desire to further satisfy my love of teaching and helping others. Branch out will allow me to take my first steps to making society a better place.
