Briefly introduce yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a mentor for BranchOut!:
I am Michelle Lei, a sophomore at River Hill High School. I've always thought that aiding students younger than me in subjects that I've learned is incredibly fun. When I was in fifth grade, I delighted in becoming a student mentor to an art class. I have taken a fair amount of challenging classes, including AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, Art 2 GT, amongst others. I take learning seriously and have always prioritized it. I've found in the past that learning becomes a lot more fun when somebody goes over topics in more depth and with more clarity, and I would love to provide that in any way that I can. This Branch Out opportunity would give me a chance to learn how to connect with other people and see topics that I have studied with entirely different perspectives.
