Briefly introduce yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a mentor for BranchOut!:

My name is Lawrence Tang and I am currently a sophomore in the Montgomery Blair High School Magnet Program. Coming from such a diverse school such as Blair, I am exposed to all walks of life on a daily basis. This has made me keenly aware of the vast socio-economic differences and class barriers present in America. There are countless talented children out there that could easily make a difference in the world, yet lack the tools to properly do so. I wish to become a member of BranchOut to help address this issue. Through providing resources such as summer programs and tutoring, I believe that BranchOut is the best platform for accessing these underprivileged children and providing them with the resources they need to succeed.
