Describe your tutoring experience if you have any:
The topics I’ve tutored consist of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English, where math and science are my strong points. I’ve worked with age groups 4th grade and higher.
I’m currently a member of McLean High Schools’ math and chemistry tutoring clubs McMatics and Chemnection, where bi-weekly I tutor underclassmen in these subjects.
Through the community outreach projects of McLean High School’s Science National Honor Society, I’ve been able to work with 4-8th graders in various science projects and subjects. At Longfellow, I’ve helped kids prepare for their science SOLs. At Kent Gardens, I’ve done more hands-on projects with complementary lessons. For example, I’ve managed a balloon car experiment and explained the physics behind their motion.
Occasionally, I will help my younger brother, who is currently an 8th grader, in math and any subject he has trouble on.
