Briefly introduce yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a mentor for BranchOut!:
My name is Elaine Ding, and I am currently 16 years old. As I've mentioned before, I have participated and will participate again in the LATO program, a program that mainly focuses on teaching English and American culture. I have been playing music for around 11 years of my life. My first experience with music was when I was five years old, and just beginning my piano lessons. I've had 10 years of experience on the piano, and five years of experience with the flute. Music is a vital part of my life I have dedicated eleven years to. My average grade in Algebra 2 was an A-. I want to join BranchOut because I believe education is what fuels progress in society; aside from helping others during the school year, I would also like to advance the education of others over the summer.
